Xtandi question

I am interested in hearing from anyone with experience in taking XTANDI® (enzalutamide). Has anyone else had an issue with TGA... Transient Global Amnesia? My husband has been on Xtandi for 6 weeks and has been in two different hospitals this last week. Thursday as he entered an ER he became confused. He didn’t know where he was, how he got there, what day, date and year it was, what he had done that day, that he had been in another hospital the day before, who the President of the USA is… etc. He is also having EXTREME fatigue, worsening hot flashes, stomach or chest pains, rounds of high blood pressure. All cardiac tests show no issues. We will be seeing his MO this week and it would be helpful to know if anyone has experienced anything similar to this while on Xtandi. Thanks very much. This is all so bizarre.

I've been on Xtandi for 7 months. I had no obvious problems for the first 2 months (just ongoing hot flashes and fatigue I already had from ADT). I then had a bout of vertigo lasting about 2 weeks. In the last couple of months I would say the hot flushes have got more intense as has the fatigue. I've also developed some stinging/stabbing pains in the chest and stomach for which I've been taking codeine. My MO believes the latter is reflected nerve pain from tumors on my rib and spine. He's prescribed Amitriptyline for that which I've just started taking.

I've not noticed any memory problems but maybe I've forgotten 🙂

I’ve been on xtandi for almost 3 years. Definitely some brain food and fatigue but I get by. It’s helped a lot and I’m continuing to take it wit Lupron.
