Hello Friends, I wanted to take the time to share that I am leaving this forum. I joined in 2016 after being apart os a Usenet group on advanced prostate cancer for 12 years...... yes, I was first diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer with two metastatic lesions in my spine on May 3, 2004, nineteen years ago. Today I continue to have no evidence of cancer in my body.

I joined this forum to give hope and positive thought. I’ll continue to best you the best in treating this terrible disease and hope that you kill the little bastards as Doctor Robert Amato accomplished with me.

Unfortunately I have seen many, many men succumb to metastatic prostate cancer with a variety of treatment. Men who came to this forum with different scope of disease. Men who came with co-morbidity factors and weaken body strength. Sad are those who were metastatic at first diagnosis. Do all that you can to kill the little bastards! After 19 years, this continues to be my guiding principle.

gourd_dancer. I came in in February 2017 after I was dx with metastatic pca. You are one person who helped and inspired me at that time. I have been off the forum but since I follow you - one of the very few, I got the notification. By the way, when I was first diagnosed, I went straight to finding as much about a cancer fighting diet and supplements. Although I was on ADT, had serious radiation, and my prostate removed when it shrunk enough to yank out, I credit the people on this board who use a more holistic approach - which is why I have been any form of treatment since January 2019 and have no evidence of PCA as of this writing. This is fight that you helped me win as of this second. Thank you and accept my undying gratitude how you helped so many people. Warmly. Sticking around

I have read many of your previous posts and replies and there is A LOT of valuable info. If you leave the forum, please do not delete your account as I really hope all this info isn't lost to those of us who want to reference it in the future.

I agree .you can leave your legacy and help many men by not shutting the account but just with a smile end this chapter of your life .

Gourd Dancer, no reason to leave. Why?

You are an asset to all of us. Do what I do, check in, get caught up, and take a vacation, then come back. This doesn't have to be full time. Come and go as you please, but no need to leave permenantly.

I only now came across you because I took notice to your farewell. I feared a message of sadness was coming forth but instead I discover a wonderful, hopeful story in place. The sadness is your departure and not continuing to share your down your path with any future sole befallen by cancer. The many that have known and followed no doubt know your story and many likely have been helped.

Yours is a story to give help to any newcomer here that might avoid despair in hearing your story over those 19 plus years. Yours is not an easy wisdom to come by. You don’t know me and certainly you owe me nothing but I dare to ask that you stay on and keep telling it? Keep sharing for all the newbies to come for as long as you can. Your story is only old to you but fresh to anyone else that needs it. I thank you.

I will miss your wise counsel and positive vibe.

I noticed that you have gone “hidden “which means that we can no longer see your posts, which I have found useful, please reconsider that status.

I wish you a great life and hope to be lucky enough to have similar results.

sorry to read. You have been by go to profile for hope and helped me decide that throwing the works at it early was not a mad thing to do.

You will be missed by me for sure. Thank you for taking part in your clinical trial back in the day and telling your story that for some a cure is indeed possible.

Reading Gourd Dancers history two and a half years ago was the first ray of hope I had in my pca journey. His doctors out of the box thinking cured him. It also made it clear that any treatment used earlier in a patient’s diagnosis is far superior to being used later or within the time frame that the fda approves for SOC.

. I always admired you . Bf you go if you have your natural protocol would you post it or send it to me so that it can be passed on to others . I'm losing my dad but when I get courage enough if I love through this I plan to advocate for the remainder of my life and you always had unique ways and researched backed supplements which I'd love a copy of if that's not to much to ask. Ty for your inspiration here.

Kind of some unnecessary silliness. Kind of arrogant. Kind of liking making a stand against--what? In the end only selfishly lessens present and future brothers positive experience with the presence you had here.

You totally left the forum becoming "hidden" so unless you rejoned under a different sign in name you aren't seeing this and the other responses. Silly.

Now hidden your home/bio page is not accessible/relatable for those who could benefit from it. A shame.
