I saw her dad nat in the early sixties in dc . I was 4 or 5 . I saw sister sledge , kool and the gang , in 1979 at the kool jazz festival in the Oakland A’s coliseum . There was a gang fight on the baseball diamond and a stampede of thousand running from it . I was tall 18 by myself and I was barely able to scale the green monster wall and not get crushed. My last day of two months imrt they played stairway to heaven and final countdown for me . I thought “ This is Bs , what are they trying to tell me ? When I went back years later they said we don’t do that anymore . Great idea! It kinda freaked me out .
