Zytiga started

Although we are not completely convinced it is needed : PSA went from 2 to 3 immediately after 6 weeks radiation which we expected to happen, MO insists on us adding Zy and prednisone. I am trying to get a second opinion but I did start it about 2 weeks ago. Remain going to the gym 5 days a week as always but have noticed some severe joint pain at times. Any natural remedies that anyone has found to help with it as yet ?

See LATITUDE and PEACE-1 trials. If you are not up on trials you are driving a car with an opaque windshield. Your profile does not mention if your PCa is metastatic, your biopsy Gleason and avidity scores, if you have bone mets, PSMA PET/CT scan, PSA, treatment to date, and more. No one here can form an intelligent response without this stuff. You might as well be asking for help by sending smoke signals.

Diag may 2022, gleason 8 and 9 : PRADS 5

Some LNs ( oligo ). Lupron with Casodex. Went from psa 100 to 2. Full pelvic radiation. Two weeks after, PSA 3 but we expected it since psa released.

MO insists on zytiga (?)

Zytiga/Lupron are the way to go according to my MO at URMC and MSK. It's been working for me for 18 mo.

Respectfully, my second opinion is to do the Zytiga. I have been on it 100 months and still undetectable with Stage 4

Remedy was always beer in the joint and water on the knee............
