High AST/SGOT

My husband has been very nauseous and struggling to eat or drink. We are currently at his oncologist’s office where my husband is getting saline because he is so dehydrated.

They ran blood tests and is AST/SGOT is 64. A few weeks ago it was 34.

Would this mean the cancer is now possibly in his liver? His oncologist is not here today, we have to come back tomorrow to see him and get more information.

He is just so weak, it took me 30 minutes to get him to the car to get here today.

If so, an FDG PET/CT might show it.
