BAT trials

Does anyone know if there are BAT trials going on in Canada? Specifically Vancouver? I am very interested in trying this and I have a friend who may be interested too. I have an appointment with my MO at the end of the month so will be talking about it.

Thanks for the article. Did Dr. Denmeade allude to the idea that T is so cheap that no one wants to fund a clinical trial. What's going on there? Thanks!

As Smurtaw indicated, the use of BAT is moving from Clinical trials only and into the domain of community MOs. One monthly shot of 400 mg of generic testosterone cypionate and PSA monitoring every two weeks. Three months is the typical first course to assess response. Probably less than 100 $ Canadiam per month. Denmeade, Antonarakis or Schweitzer can be consulted virtually if needed to assess case and reassure. See also:

BAT can be used before starting Zytiga? Just go straight from Lupron to BAT?
