Has anyone went and received treatment at Sanoviv? If so, what were the results, experience...good or bad. I have stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer and am considering going. Thanks for any and all input.

It looks like a beautiful and expensive spa. As long as you receive and continue your therapy from an oncologist at a major US teaching hospital, and you have the money, there's no reason not to enjoy a vacation.

Please let us know what your stage 4 PCa treatments are/have been. Thanks.

I was diagnosed a little over one year ago and was told surgery, chemo and radiation were not options. I received firmagon shots and have been going more natural path with mistletoe shots weekly, twice a week high dose vitamin C IVs, low dose ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Naltrexone, CBG, CBD, and a multitude of supplements.

Why was chemo not an option?

Can't recall exactly why. I was in a daze when first diagnosed, but that is what I was told by urologist.

My urologist was grossly out of date on standards of care. I did chemo and then radiation.

in reply to gnp22

as you do better that will change. They will offer you these options. Of course it is your choice.

in reply to gnp22

Surgery, chemo, and radiation not options? What else is left? Who the heck told you that? Before you spend gobs of money at a Mexican clinic get a 2nd opinion here in the states. Something doesn't add up. Good luck.

He said only thing was hormone treatments and that would only last 2 to 3 years until cancer found a way around it, which is why I turned to a natural path Dr. Good advice on the 2nd opinion. Think I will do that. Thanks.

There are plenty of proven treatments available after you become castrate resistant. They've kept me alive for over 6 years now with great QOL and minimal side effects.

There might be other "off the beaten path" treatments as well. One posssibility, Dr. Gary Onik uses a cryo-immunotherapy that some reportedly have had success with. Wishing you the best of luck on this rocky road.

If they mention Lea trill it's probably a scam.

gnp22 what are some of the main therapies you would be receiving while there and how long is a stay?

gnp22 profile image
gnp22 in reply to

Immune cell therapy with TILS plus and NK cells, hyperbaric oxygen therapy four times per week, whole body hyperthermia twice per week and regional hyperthermia four times per week to pelvic region. The stay is for 3 weeks.

Come on Peddie

thank you g, give me a hint on Tils and nk?

til is tumor infiltrating t cells. They remove these from your body and manipulate, expand these and then reinfuse back into your body. NK cells are like t cells (Natural Killer cells), same process and they attack germs and other malignant cells.

thank you g, I will read about every therapy available. We can’t do it all but at least have the knowledge to make a good choice. Good luck and keep us posted! My husband also does mistletoe ivermectin and vit C twice per week.

Several of us went to Veritas in Tijuana. One was a very fit and young 80 year old that went with us. His results were outstanding. PSA down from 3 to 0.10. Mine has stayed around 0.50 for 6 months
