GLEASON EIGHT.

If you have seen the Gleason images on Wikipedia, it is clearly obviously the drastic difference in the cell invasion between a three and gour.. That said, it seems futile to remove the prostate instead of radiation and brachytherapy.. If the Gleason eight is on the vesicles seems to me it is almost assured it has already escaped. This was my experience, Thoughts?

The totally non SOC for my 5+5 right half and 6&7 left half using a jockey whip smacking away instead of a slap. Maybe - JUST MAYBE - leaving the left half in there as that sacrificial zinc (like I've mentioned) after cryo-ing the right half into oblivion along with the initial Orchiectomy and the Yervoy+Obdivo+Keytruda in-situ booster might keep me HS ( find out with the next scan) so the *T* on and off will keep QoL high and more Miss PIGGY 😜 encounters in my LONG RANGE future. Just had the sip of JW Blue and getting ready for the stationary ride. So far 7.5 years on my detoured ride in life.

Have a recommendation for something SMOOOOOTHER ??

in reply to addicted2cycling

No , not really . Blue is smooth . I’ve had a couple high end single malts that rocked. Louis 13 cognac has a certain high to it . I don’t drink now . Maybe a toast with friends during these holidays ? Salud amigo. Happy thanksgiving! 🤙🏽

Virtual FRIENDS are always present so IMO one should never wait, since tomorrow is not guaranteed. If you should happen to sip early -- ENJOY!!!

My feeling was, why would I want a cancer-filled prostate in my body? I got in a clinical trial at MD Anderson to evaluate the SOC advice that there is no benefit in stage 4 cancer to removing the prostate. My prostate was removed in October 2020. So far, so good.

Prostate removal surgery wasn't kind to me; if you want more info, send me a direct message. However, two years out I am very happy. My cancer is in remission (for now) and I am not aware of any lingering issues after prostate removal.

well I guess the answer is brachytherapy combined with radiation kills the cancer. Removing the prostate causes all kinds of issues but doesn't accomplish anymore than the aforementioned and you don't need a diaper.

My thought as well. Those GS 4+4 cancer cells in the prostate must be the nastiest, most mutated, most dangerous cells and I wanted to get rid of them. Didn't want to take the chance they were radiation resistant so in one operation they were gone. I did go through SRT + ADT one year later, and that was 10 years ago. PSA undetectable today. Minimal SE, for me anyway, and I'm a happy camper.

Amazing! 😎👏👏👏👏

The "answer" is whatever you want it to be. I would never consider branchytherapy (sounds like voodoo witch doctor science to me plus I wasn't a candidate for it). Never had any type of radiation. I wasn't incontinent after the surgery either. Everyone is different.

The SOC now is that removing the prostate makes no difference which is why MD Anderson has a clinical trial on it. Maybe the SOC will change.

Fuck, I was just in Seattle for a week and never thought of going to one of my favorite asian markets for KimChee. We have it in the "health" food stores for four times the price of the asian markets. I just need to make it myself. Napa cabbage on the list. If you are in the us I could send you some of my home made if this batch comes out well. So far I think I have made maybe 10 (large) batches total and all were edible except for two made with too much salt from which a batch is not recoverable. I made two really good batches, the rest were edible but nothing that drew you to the refrigerator as you passed by,

Any suggestions for a fool proof online basic kimchee recepie?

in reply to spencoid2

super good for us . I saw how to make sauerkraut ,just put a head in brine .

spencoid2 profile image
spencoid2 in reply to

sauerkraut is easier. do not use too much salt. be sure all cabbage is submerged or it will get moldy. do not ferment too long or it will get mushy. kinchee has added spices which need to be right. Too much and you will never be able to teat it and rinsing will do nothing to get too much pepper out. I like Korean pepper but made one batch I just could not eat even in tiny pieces. Threw it out after a few months and make a decent batch.
