You will get different opinions here based on theoretical considerations. But none proven better than others for effects on PC. It is not a direct treatment but a minor role in that they are anti-inflammatory, which is good. But there major role is in helping protect from cardiovascular disease, which may kill the majority of us that survive long enough from the PC.
So the best one IMO is the one you can take without side effects to correct dyslipidemia and reduce ASCVD risk profile. Lipid tests are standard ( Cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, triglycerides) but the best single test to monitor is ApoB (Apolipoprotein-B). Should be under 70 and ideally 60 or below.
There is absolutely no truth nor merit to the theory that it helps to “starve cancer” by helping deprive it of fats. Lipids, including cholesterol are fundamental building blocks of all our cells, cancer or not. We would die of starvation ourselves before starving cancer. Metabolic plasticity permits cancers to switch to whatever nutrient source is available. Paul
