Decided to have treatment,gleason 3+4, , psa 4 8 of 24 cores showing cancer (dont know anymore about the the biopsy results), cpg2 grade worry is do I include hormone therapy, side effects don't look good, including heart issues,diabetes amongst others.
Awaiting appt with hospital to discuss options
No hormone therapy is needed with radiation for GS 3+4
It seems to be standard practice in the UK, I'm assuming you're saying there's no added benefit long term, gonna tell the oncologist that I ain't having it

Tall_Allen - Thanks for this data, I am also living in the UK currently on Active Surrelliance vs. whilst evalauting treatment options. The UK radiologist (oncologist) also stated ADT would be prescribed with radiation treatment. I have already discounted the treatment but this just adds weight that the decission was correct.
