that’s a very beautiful place..fall foliage and attractive lake. Looks great for a wonderful QOL outdoors experience… fishing and communing with nature. How good is that. Thank you brother for posting , any help we can get to not think about “ things “ for a while is good. an uplifting experience and possibly dinner as well yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. Wish I was there right now .

Mahalo nui loa(Thank you very much) for that wonderful, bucolic setting picture. This is the perfect post to just push all the PCa worries to the back of your mind.
Well done Brother, let's all post QoL experiences that lifts all of us up, victims and Caregivers alike.

"Not all those who wander are lost"
My lifetime mantra. My high school grad class and I used it as our message or whatnot at graduation.
Oddly, ironically enough I really have been wandering all my life. All around the world.
I lived in Iowa for a period of time and when I moved to my next location new work associate asked where I was from. He said "Oh, Iowa, Idiot out wandering around" I wasn't offended lol.
I participated in a "Reel Recovery" get together and had fly fishing lessons... Really keeps your mind off your cancer when busy on a trout steam.... If interested look up "Reel Recovery", they have clinics all over the U.S,
Reel Recovery is excellent. PCa men connecting via fly fishing weekends and sharing. No experience necessary. Did one on the Yakima River WA some years back.
I've thought about learning to fly fish.
Beautiful Tommy!... My practice too, getting closer to nature gets us closer to the Divine.... Thanks for sharing
Really nice. Looks like my 5 minute away lake. Looks like you took the pic with a "real" camera.
Stay clear of those Sumac bushes lol.
Actually, I'm using my LG android phone....maybe Mrs Claus will hook me up with a "Real" Camera in December! lol
I learned long ago about the dreaded Sumac's
Thats cool. I need to get off my grumpy old man complaint of us all using phones for cameras I guess lol.
Yea you meet people who's vocabulary isn't Sumac bush. It's Poison Sumac bush lol.
Beautiful colors! What type of fish are there ? Thanks
Bass, Perch, Crappie, Bluegill, Musky and now Snakeheads. And of course catfish
picture perfect!
looks very peaceful and very relaxing. Thanks for sharing.
i love it my friend. I have been feeling well enough the past few week that I was able to spend 3 full days on the lake. I pray that all your cancer cells jump in the lake and drown.....lol
Small victories are like Championships these days. When I'm not hurting I try to get outdoors as much as possible. Activity is the best medicine for the Hot flashes
Cancer cells jump in the lake and drown.
Love it.
Hey that's some big ass bait there. What are you after?
We fish for large mouth and small mouth bass. That is on a highland reservoir called Dale Hollow. Home of the world record small mouth. It was like 10 pounds and 5 oz, I think back in 1955.
Makes sense. I rarely throw in my 8 pound test for bass, walleye, etc.
But accidently pull some in with my 2 and 4 pound test doing what I normally do--pan fish.

for me, it’s hop on my Goldwing and meander the back roads away from the city.
nothing like fishing on a beautiful lake especially if you catch fish. i was hoping to get another fishing trip in this fall but it probably won't happen.
beautiful photo and testimony to your love of fishing. It is amazing the beauty and tranquility we can find when we focus our attention.
Thanks for sharing
