Anyone here experience a resurgance of kidney stones during cancer treatment? If so, what were your experiences and do you feel your cancer care team responded well?

a few months after my surgery, I had the most horrible pain with kidney stones. I went to ER and all. I am not sure if they are related because I never had stones before.

My Uro/Onc stresses to drink 60oz + of water daily to flush the kidneys. Said stones are real and painful with so many meds in our system.

I drink High Ph water as we know Cancer thrives in an acidic environment and struggles in an Alkalide High Ph environment. 2 birds with 60 oz of High Ph Water.

Hey Pickleballplayer, yes you can have a blood test known as a Blood Gas Test (ABG TEST). I use the pH test strips you urinate on. I am most interested in urine pH as I have had bladder, ureter, bladder neck, and urethra involvement from PCa. Scale is 0-14. 1=Acidic. 14= Alkalide. Note: 12.5-14 is hazordous Alkalidity. pH too high. 7-7.5 is normal. I shoot for 9.5-10. I drink wheatgrass coffee, and Green Tea, and 9.5pH water, along with Cruciferous vegetables. My goal is to make PCa uncomfortable in my bodies environment, and not thrive/expand.

Blood pH= Acidosis vs Alkalosis (ABG Test)

Diabetic Ketoacidosis= low insulin=acid builds up

Metabolic Acidosis= Kidney function

Respiratory Acidosis=Lung function

All of these can be tweaked for lower Acidic levels, higher pH levels.

Hello

My father had a kidney stone before cancer.

Recently, after starting docetaxel, he started to feel pain like the crises he had in the kidney. It easily resolved by taking ibuprofen as it used to, and the stone came out.
