Going to do Cyber knife on my T3. It seems like the best choice for now. Working on getting into clinical trial at Swedish for LU 177 PSMA.Has anyone done Cyber in this area and what were the side effects?

Cyberknift treatment

Generally local treatment of metastatic cancer is useless, but this is the one exception.
Cyber knife is likely a good choice and the best choice.
As to pmsa, that may not be the best choice unless it is a last resort.
They limit the number of treatments as it attacks your salivary glands and kidneys.
Dry mouth mucks up your teeth and adversely affects your nutrition. It's affects might be worse than those of the disease.
Dialisys reduced lifespan and quality of life.
Often psma just doesn't reach all your prostate cancer. Portions of it may not be psma sensitive. You need to assess whether some portion of your cancer will be left untreated by it.
So pmsa in general is and should be a treatment of last resort.
It seems that many docs don't explain all this to their patients.
There are new versions of psma without the side effects, but they are not yet out of trials.
It's probably best for most people to choose another treatment until these safer versions become available.
I am sorry my response keeps getting deleted. Thank you for the input on both questions. What are the newer versions of the LU PSMA are you referring to? I will do the Cyber Knife TX.
I have read that Nanoknife can be used on distant Mets. I have three tumours in my spine, one in my ribs and several in the lymph nodes in my back. So I’m also looking for options.
I see that cyber knife is an option but I’ve had so much radiation treatment already, I’m trying to avoid it. Have a look at the link below even though it mainly used for patients who already have a prostate, I see that it’s also used for distant Mets.
