Where are you? Abraham, Patrick and j-o-h-n? Am I a troll? Couldn't respond to a post. I'm sorry Darryl, but that did seem to be arbitrary. This isn't just about giving technical prostate cancer information. A little laughter, a little satire and people telling their stories goes a long way. The bicyclists, the marathon runners, the weight lifters, those who take supplements, those who don't. I really felt left out. I don't post pictures, because I'm ugly. And I'm to lazy to learn how. But Dockham, Lulu and others, they make my day. It is agonizing to lose Dan, Monty, Zedabow, Whatsinaname, Great John, a day of lasts, and so many more. Wishing you were here again. But it is ecstasy to hear of those who have endured. I read this site religiously when I first found it four years ago. I learned so much that my doctor didn't have time to tell me. I'm not going to say that they didn't know. I love the feuds, the give and take. I jump up and down. I do draw the line at hatred. j-o-h-n doesn't hate me, he has invited me to stay at his house if I ever go to New York City. Of course, it may be a trap. Can't we all just get along?

we all get along

Exactly!
We ARE all getting along. Posts like this are creating a false impression and thus helping the trolls who are trying to destroy our community; a community that helps thousands of people each year
I am such an innocent person. The only trolls I know live under a bridge. I am just seeing so much paranoia. And I ain't even high. The Pied Piper was here today. He left roaches instead of rats. And another stray cat. I am so f***ed. After all the chemicals, my house is more toxic than Chernobyl. The cats are starting to speak strange languages. My son has started to stutter. At least I can still tyyyyyppppppe.
I'm new here, but really like this forum so far.
Would love to see this forum be for actual cancer patients and/or their advocates only, rather than have to share it with the lurkers here that only post about some obscure enzyme or supplement, extract etc. that works on mice or in a petri dish. Or troll us with posts about how some drug that we need to survive might make us depressed or give us more aggressive cancer in 10 years. Yeah, thanks for the warning.
I do realize that getting rid of these is wishful thinking on my part.
This is the best and only forum I have been on. I am guessing by lurkers, you mean those trying to make a profit from our unfortunate situation. I agree with you completely. I need to go and check the mouse I have in a petri dish. I call him Micky.
OOPS, the wrong MICKEY *butt* here's a musical interlude for your enjoyment (maybe???) -- 👍
I wouldn’t like this site if all we discussed was SOC. I for one think learning about enzymes, and supplements and mechanisms of action that effect PCa are fascinating and I believe in complementary medicine. There are lots of side effects to these SOC drugs and since I have been an herbalist for 30 years now, I see the benefits in pain meds i make and give to family and friends and myself. It is not a placebo effect! I give the thousands of researchers a thumbs up for their highly skilled education and research. And I love learning from them.
Hey Monte, thanks for the mention 💙I'm an optimistic kinda guy, and usually post upbeat stuff. As I said in reply to another post: Life is sh*tty enough on ADT
And here is a pic with me and a patient and having a beer🍻
Enjoy😊
Darryl seems fair in allowing all civilly expressed viewpoints. I wouldn't like us to become a clinical trial-only board, or an alternative-only board.
Unfortunately this post was about to be hijacked with replies by those who want to destroy our community. For that reason, I am turning off replies.
And a shame as this thread was mostly warm, sharing and personal; showing the very best of us.
So, hence forth, for at least the next few months, we will delete posts about community management. Grand announcements about leaving or about other members will also be deleted, unless they directly relate to prostate cancer feelings, or state of health. Of course we want to hear from relatives and friends regarding hospice care or passing. Please focus your posts on your cancer concerns, personal support and Prostate cancer. Warm personal sharing like most of the above is welcome too .
Please feel encouraged to complain, comment, suggest, etc about management issues to me by direct message (click on my avatar). We listen and welcome improvements. Thank you for understanding.
