Thanksgiving

I want to give thanks to all of you who share your knowledge, experience, pain, grief and of course humor.(J-o-h-n)

Most of us regardless of our current afflictions have a lot to be thankful for, such as doctors, nurses, caregivers, friends and family. We are really blessed.

I get up every morning and look in the mirror and give thanks to the Big Guy for a.new day. I also smile at the guy in the mirror and if he smiles back I know I'm in for a good day.

Thank you for the humor reference... Very kind of you... I want to agree with all that you wrote except you forgot to mention that the mirror you look into every morning is the Coney Island Amusement Park "distorted type".

Since I will be quite busy at work today and have all sorts of Thanksgiving activities going on this evening and tomorrow -- including a 7:30AM three mile Turkey Day run -- I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know how grateful I am for this forum which functions so well as a source of information and also as an on-line support group. All of our open and honest discussions have really helped me deal with my prostate cancer treatments and their side effects. I give thanks for all of you for just being uniquely you and participating in the forum.

Having a snow day in Tehachapi, CA. Then travel South home to Orange County and that may take 4hrs!

Doing turkey breasts in a water bath immersion cooker - a sous vide. Taters and stuffing too at nephew's house in Thursday.

Hope that Thanksgiving is filled with family, fun, and, of course, food!
