Lupron in USA and Europe

Dose for 3 months seems to be 22.5 mg in USA where in Europa we receive only 11.5 mg. Are we all aware of this and what’s the reason?

Prostap and Lupron use different vehicles to dissolve the medicine. Prostap is subcutaneous, whereas Lupron is intramuscular. Equal amounts are bioavailable.

Eligard is subcutaneous too but it is still 22.5 mg every 3 months.

I live in Australia and had LUCRIN Depot 3 Month PDS 22.5mg for 2 years. Had my final injection in june '22. I believe LUCRIN and LUPRON are the same drug ( leuprorelin acetate ) just different brand name. Let's just say I'm not the man I was down below the belt! It seems that's the trade off if I want to live.
