God give you serenity to bear this loss. I would suggest every one of us should check germline mutations early on esp BRCA 2. Its cost some 100 or so dollars at Color.Com but knowing the genetic mutations is very important. 2Dee had BRCA2 mutation and had to go for aggressive treatments. Rest in peace..friend !

Thank you for thinking of those of us here. Family, friends and clergy can be helpful but at times, being alone with memories of years past, while just sipping a cup of whatever while looking out a window can dull the hurt, help us to learn to live --it--the loss. We never get over it. We learn to live with it. It is a bad deal. To get the best we experience the worst!!?? Life sometimes writes the contract that way.
