Following SBRT ( Cyberknife ) failure to eradicate my PSMA identified tumor, I have been taking Casodex. After 5 days of intense radiation, two PSA taken at the two week mark than 90 day. At the 90 day when the best outcome in projected- did not happen, PSA elevated to 2.4. I was placed on Casodex, and now it was suggested I take tapeworm medication along with Casodex. That seemed too odd, so I have not started that yet. Has anyone in this community heard of that medication used in our defense with Prostate Cancer.
