So today ( 24-05-2022 ) at last , a human clinical trial of something that looks promising - However I don't see Prostate Cancer in the list !!

LOS ANGELES — A new cancer-killing virus is entering clinical trials after tests show it can successfully shrink advanced tumour's. Researchers at City of Hope National Medical Centre say the experimental drug can treat several forms of cancer, including colon, lung, breast, ovarian, and pancreatic tumour's.

It appears to follow the premise that the body's own T cells can do the job if they know what target to aim for and are stopped from running rampant - I wish those in the trial the very best of luck - will be interesting watching the progress and hopefully successful outcome - again I hope that they can address Prostate in a similar fashion ? kindest Raoul

The post from Study finds:-

As the anti-cancer injection moves closer to reality, a team from immuno-oncology company Imugene Limited and City of Hope have dosed the first patient in a Phase 1 clinical trial with the virus, called CF33-hNIS VAXINIA. Their study will look to recruit around 100 patients at 10 different trial sites in the United States and Australia.

I asked my oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center about Vaxinia. The reply was that there are many such virus-based treatments under development but thus far efficacy has been lacking.

RE ; CF33-hNIS - City of Hope-developed oncolytic virus

I watched the creators video ( Professor Yuman Fong, Inventor of Oncolytic Virus CF33) and he said exactly the same as your oncologist ! , that the 40 years he had taken to bring this to fruition / human trials was because the FDA did not want to injure anyone ( sensible ) and so had only passed weak and with poor efficacy new treatments - he went on to say his cocktail of viruses were intentionally made up off previously passed viruses such as the small pox vaccine and are DNA based so don't affect the patients own DNA unlike RNA based types and that also they they were very effective in lower than normal doses as they turned the patients own defence system on and also had the additional benefit of having the abscopal effect - I just hope that this is the breakthrough it appears to be and I am glad we are in human trials now and not continual mouse studies, I will try to find the URL to the creators explanation as I think he has over this period crossed the Ts and dotted his Is and I will not have done justice to his work.

I hope this is the giant leap for all of us suffers of Cancer would greatly benefit from I really do.

I understand it fared well on the NCI-60 Human Tumour Cell Lines Screen

Kindest Raoul
