Everybody reacts differently

Exercise helps me. Easy for me to say that I am tired but always feel better after doing it. I also take the Xtandi evening. My stomach does feel bloated often. I have tried things with diet but need to talk to you doctor before trying. I thought intermittent fasting helps as well as taking a good probiotic. Stay positive my friend.

Thank you.

I just got back from a walk and totally out of breath. My wife asked how the walk was and I said "hard, but good." Thinking about how it's difficult to exercise, but so imporant and I feel better after.

Then I pull up the forum and read this, nice affirmation. BTW, I'm also on Xtandi.

That darned stuff alone is enough to take your breath away. (and give you a bloody, snotty nose)

Driving with the parking brake on.

Most times when I walk I feel like I have the brakes on as you do; or I am dragging a LARGE heavy anchor. I ride my bicycle almost every day (4-7 miles) and feel much better and not nearly as tired afterwards. Wish you the best.

Good analogy. Or walking with a 50 pound backpack on......uphill.

I don't feel right if I don't take my hike each morning. Yes, I get winded, sometimes even take a nap when I get home. After 15 or 20 minutes, good to go. Exercise and life advocate keep me going.

I have been on Xtandi for 6 months. The cumulative effects are tough. Running is difficult. I get swelling, fatigue and other minor side effects. Exercise at gym (mostly cardio and some resistance exercise) really helps. I take Xtandi in the morning on empty stomach and also do intermittent fasting. It’s working for me with no stomach problems but I have noticed some water retention in that area after taking.Good Luck!

I have had my first infusion of Cabazitaxel and to be honest I’ve been fatigued most time. So different from when I did docitaxel. I haven’t been able to do my regular walks. The body aches quite a bit but am going to force myself later to try and get a walk in.

Anyone feels like I do after trying Cabazitaxel? Please share or love any good advice.

Thanks 🙏

Haniff
