I met with him once ,9/2020, and he came across as a mr know it all. Didn’t allow me to ask questions as he talked. A big turn off for me. That was my first and last impression of this guy. Good luck.

Thanks. I’m leaning toward Dr Corn

Agree with skateguy, we saw him once, 6/2021. I am a "need to know" person so he wasn't for us, wouldn't answer questions. Heard Dr. Corn at MDA is good and easy to talk to. We are now at Methodist in Houston seeing MO, Dr. Eleni Efstathiou, MD, who was at MDA for years. Best of luck.

Thanks for your response. I think they are both very good doctors. Best of luck for you

One thing to add, select your doctor at MDA carefully because it's extremely hard to change doctors in the Genitourinary Dept. That was our experience anyway.

Dr. Paul Corn is my oncologist at MD Anderson and is the exact opposite of how skateguy describes your doctor.

First thing Dr. Corn did at my first visit was introduce himself briefly, then looked directly at me and asked "What's your story? Why are you here?" And he LISTENED. He's very bright and very well plugged in to research. Every time I tell Dr. Corn about something I read about here or elsewhere, he either knows the research or knows the people conducting the research.

Highly recommend Dr. Corn.

Thanks Steve. I met my Uro today to go over the last PSA result. He doesn’t think that I should start ADT yet. He believes that at 0.19 PSA I can’t have a PSMA pet and starting ADT will have adverse health effects and quality of life. He wants me to continue testing every 3 months. By the way, I will go to Dr Corn when the time comes. Thanks again

Dr. Sumit Suhbudi was my husband’s oncologist. I have three words. Don’t use him.
