Although just beginning this battle, I am very positive and hopeful.
I am researching and under top notch care. My diagnosis was very tardy.

Welcome! Where are your metastases and how many are there?
Possibly four locations: T2 and pelvic area(3). The prostate received 20 12-minute doses in April. Since then I've received several scans and 2 MRIs. Second Lupron received 6/3/22.
You should be doing more than Lupron for that:

The latest innovation is triplet therapy:

In four days I am scheduled to begin a series of three more radiation treatments for the mets....My psa is VERY low now.
PSA is not your cancer.
I realize it is just my prostate specific antigen reading. I am learning. On 6/3/22 my psa was 0.069 ng/mL. and that made me happy.
Yesterday I received radiation treatment to my ribs. That was the first of three as part of on-going therapy. The spine is next.
Greetings sam,
Would you please be kind enough to tell us your bio. Age? Location? When diagnosed? Treatment(s)? Treatment center(s)? Scores Psa/Gleason? Medications? Doctor's name(s)?
All info is voluntary, but it helps us help you and helps us too. When you respond, copy and paste it in your home page for your use and for other members’ reference.
THANK YOU AND KEEP POSTING!!!
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Tardy, that's a nice way to say your Drs f#cked up. Mine too. Stage 4, gleason 9/10 at diagnosis... Best of luck to you, I am starting year 5 with my 2nd BCR. Life Is Good, good drs help..
Drs. F up? 😳
Sometimes..... The drs. earlier said " bruised or cracked", my CT scan today showed #7 rib broken and healing without reconnecting... I guess I will have a #7 front rib and #7 rear rib from now on. At least it isn't hurting like it did soon after my fall.
Last year my nuke scan showed anterior L- 3 nondisplaced rib fracture . I didn’t even know it . Just another random pain . This new scan said it healed . Whoohoo! Bone nutrients and prolia?
Had my ribs treated 6/16/22. Spine is next.
Well. Welcome to our club. No one wants to be told they have cancer, but as my oncologist says there’s never been a better time to have cancer 😡. Keep up the fight warrior
Tardy... Sounds familiar. My urologist screwed up big time.
My physician assured me that prostate C moves very slowly (Nothing of concern). Finally, after years of requesting proper testing, they realized my situation after the first test...(biopsy).

Could be YES and Maybe NO. It's Imperative to have a proper biopsy because without that ??? just guessing
You were tardy, I was early , to this party at 53. Some of youngest members are just in their 40’s and have it bad . I feel for those young men the most here . “Moves very slowly “ Yah right! until it tries to kill us! You do you . Good luck!
Young patients may have the option of robot-assisted surgery. Not so much for seniors.
my husband's GP and two Urologists missed it and ignored complaints of symptoms and no PSA from any of them. awful
Mine also! 😖
Welcome. The more information you can give us in your profile on here, the more help you will receive.
Are you 69 years old? My husband was diagnosed at 57 and it was quite a kick in the arse for he who never went to the doctor. He was only a 3+4 and avoided ADT for 14 years. There are lots of high gleason men on here alive after many years with a good quality of life.
I did not know that elderly were ineligible for robot assisted surgery. Seems like they might benefit the most. My guy was 57 when he had his robotic prostate removal and it wasn't covered by insurance as it was deemed not medically necessary.
I'm 83. Dx was 12/21. Luckily, I have the very best care. (now.) I truly relish the data and input from Health Unlocked participants. But I have trouble deciphering the abbreviations on this site. I'm learning. I am optimistic.
❤️
Sam you are amazing! Your great attitude is in your favor! Welcome aboard. Scott
On 11/11/22, my urologist reported my PSA is at 0.008.
I am due for my sixth and final Xofigo infusion in two weeks.
What a journey. Eleven months.
Thanksgiving.
