We don't know what his Gleason score is and he is recurrent after RP. Wouldn't that make him high risk? If he is recurrent doesn't that mean he has metastases (although not visible on conventional imaging). I don't know. Maybe the study I cited does not directly address his situation. Thanks.
The post-prostatectomy psa might have been due to residual prostate tissue left after surgery and not due to cancer. But, since they didn't know they treated you as if you were high risk. I think you are a safe bet to go off ADT since the NCCN guidelines say 24 months.
Thanks for the clarification. He could have been a little clearer on the timeline. Nevertheless, why can't remaining prostate tissue contribute to the presence of post-prostatectomy psa? Why would it stop at 3 months? I found it interesting to say the least, that Dr. Kwon discussed treating a man after a prostatectomy who was found to still have his prostate.

As soon as I see your medical history . I'm going to start grading your incredibly poor attempts at humor. 0 the lowest, 10 the highest. Good luck. As far as private posts to me... I have you muted.Don't drink to much today.
Thank you sir...... sometimes my silly humor gets me in trouble..... (but I believe it helps)... When I was getting fried by Dr. Zeleksy in MSKcc I was fooling around and laughing with the technicians. Another paYtient also getting radiated approached me and said "You're the happiest guy I ever saw who's got cancer"..... my response was "I rather laugh than cry".......
Been telling my kids " I have a choice, laugh or cry, and crying never help with anything." Life Is Good. especially with a good belly laugh--like todays news--Pos covid test this morning.. WEE---
So this woman is sitting next to this guy on an airplane. She is constantly sneezing and then sighing and breathing heavily for a few minutes. The guy is concerned and asks the woman "if she needs help?"
The woman shyly whispers to the guy "that whenever she sneezes she has an orgasm".
The guy says "oh my, are you taking anything for it?
