Many of our friends in this APC tribe have taken the journey back home....

Sure each human has his/ her relation with Death..

The mystery of death...One day we are in body..and then we are no more in the body. After dwelling on the subject of death all my life ...I am at apoint where I think..Understand it.

The understanding is " We separate from our main source (you can call it God)..and assume this temporary human form...Only to go back and merge with our main source (God).

All are going to be eternally there in the Universe but not in the shape and form we have now. Some people say "we are energy" and energy can never be created or destroyed.

Upnishad Guys call the source SUNYATA....one may call it God

Cannot be named , accessed or described by conditioned human mind controlled by Thought...living on past graveyard.

An awareness transcending thought.....

Descartes: I think...therefore I am

Ancient wisdom: I transcend thought, dissolve into being

Karmaji...you said it well. Human mind does not have capacity to understand everything which is in Universe. Just like our eyes can not see below a certain wavelength . But this does not mean those wavelengths do not exist. \Therefore ,Upanishads end up saying in last chapters " God is unknowable, timeless ,unending all pervasive and all we can do is to bow to him/her. " Our mind ,the instrument can only reach so far. The realization of our limitation brings humility and the sense of "I" starts melting away that leads to wisdom to accept that all beings are equal and part of the same main source. In Sanskrit language..scriptures say "Ahum Bramhasmi" (means I am tiny part of God.)

I think we are afraid of losing our self-awareness, our human bonds with the things and people we love, our memories, and suffering the helplessness of physical pain as we leave the mortal coil. From this side, it seems frightening; from the other side, it may be knowing smile.
