Bruce Power which is located along Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada has taken one step closer to producing this therapeutic isotope which is used in the treatment of prostrate cancer. They have received approval from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Committee to take the next step towards its production.
Great news for sure.

Hello, As a fellow Canadian, that is great news. I have always thought I would have to go to Germany, India, Australia or elsewhere to get the Theranostic (Lutetium) treatment. It now appears it might soon be available in Canada. Thanks for letting us know.
Dr Chi at BC Cancer in Vancouver is working with Lutetium. I suspect there will be more trials, and hopefully some regular treatment programmes, available here soon.
Hello RyderLake2, I live in Bruce County where Bruce Power is located. I will up date this group when I hear anything new. I am aware our MPP Bill Walker is spearheading this cause in parliament. Fingers crossed it happens sooner than later.
Hello, Fingers crossed. We are two to three years behind the Germans and one or two years behind India, Australia, Britain, and much of Europe. Canadians and Americans are definitely lagging behind in this treatment option. In BC there are few places you can get a PET scan and even if you were accepted for a PSMA test, you would be at the end of a very long queue.
