I know its still early days. I've read a bunch of posts here where the response was underwhelming.
Curious to hear any success stories with this new therapy.

I have posted about my husband’s success with after 3 Pluvicto treatments. There’s quite a few others I read on here as well.
However, Grump is currently hospitalized with very serious but unrelated pneumonia that is not responding to treatment. He will not die of prostate cancer.
Pluvicto gave us a few more months of wonderful memories. There was no downside for him.
Ah yea. I've been keeping up with your journey and your valiant efforts.
I am sorry about his current pneumonia. Hoping he pulls through soon!
Any success stories
After 5 treatments of Lu-177-PSMA-I&T in Munich, I went 26 months until my next treatment (other than ADT), and 16 months of that was relatively worry free with an undetectable PSA.
I was castrate resistant when I started, and some of the lymph nodes in my PSMA scan had SUVs in the 60’s. I think that high uptake is what led to my success.
wWhat treatment came after Pluvicto?
A biopsy showed that I have neuroendocrine differentiation with genetic changes but not yet showing physical changes in the cells. It’s a state that is recently defined as “amphicrine” prostate cancer. I posted all about it here:

I’m having treatment #3 of docetaxel and carboplatin today. It’s working with a PSA drop of >50% so far.
funny you say that. I’ve been thinking the exact same thing. Interested to see your replies

Schwah.
I’ve had 3 treatments and it has been a game changer for me. My PSA dropped some 60 points down to near 100. I was in bad shape before the first treatment. Now I’m feeling much better. I was able to stop taking pain meds all together. My scans are in 2 weeks and I can’t wait to see them. My guess is they are much improved as I am. I will post the results.
Here is food for thought. Last summer my PSA was doubling every 3 months while on Lupron and Zytiga. Through this Forum I discovered Dana Farber was conducting a trial study with LuPSMA177. I contacted Dr. Beltran without any introduction from my MO. I drove 2 1/2 hours to Boston for a meeting. All was very casual and friendly. Scans were set up along with blood work. I had two sites of concern, L4/5 on my spine and my left groin. Radiation was recommended for my spine prior to being admitted. Once completed, I was accepted. After the second infusion PSA decreased from 8.1 to 0.19. Fatigue being the only side effect. A total of 6 infusions have been completed. PSA is currently 0.50. During the most recent scans a small spot of activity was noticed on my tail bone. Radiation is scheduled for Oct 31. It is believed this should address the uptick in PSA. On a side bar, I was told before treatment started that my PSMA activity was over 95%. This may be a predictor of potential outcome.
Hi Ramp7 — Could you explain what you mean by “PSMA activity”? My guess is that this is the level of concordance (is that a word?), i.e. FDG activity is only 5% … likely, that’s not it
I had two LU-177 treatments in Germany with Dr. Richard Baum in 2019. I responded very well to the therapy as all bone and lymph node mets were resolved. My latest scan done February of this year was clear. I was castration sensitive and on hormone therapy at the time of treatment. Currently on a ADT holiday.
Hope this helps.
24 months ago heavy tumor load. 23 mets and a few lymph nodes. Lu-177 3 rounds Ishita Sen Delhi India. Now PSMA shows 8 bone mets psa 1.14. Since I am avid for Lu-177 going back in two weeks. ( India) Could have gone to Australia but logistics are better and Sen does good work..I will not use the word trust because THAT word can lead you down a bad path. Sen is intelligent and honest and has performed at a high level. I had other choices also if you have had chemo you can stay right here in the USA.....I have my reasons to avoid chemo but that is an individual choice......
yes, the unfortunate part of the story is that my tx was on point, now the FDA has approved the use here , however the Vision Trial states I have to have chemo. I am chemo naive, and I cannot qualify for the Splash Trial since I had Lu-177. So off to India. I had an invitation by Hofman at Peter McCallum in Australia but that is a real trek and Sen knows her stuff. I would have liked to stay home but we do what have to do..I was not willing to dunk back into chemo just so I could get Lu-177....Blue Skies...
