Good to hear from you Sky. Let us know the scan results. Here I have been topping up immunity. Had Shingrix and yesterday both the Moderna booster and triple-strength senior flu shots. Feeling good on 6 to 8 week high dose Testosterone alternating with 4 weeks off.

I have a PSMA scan at UCLA today. They sent a request to Blue Cross for coverage. I’ll let you know if they were able to get it covered.

I just had my PSMA scan at UCLA. Approval hd not come back, ao I had to pay out of pocket and will have to submit to Blue Cross. Hopefully they will approve it.

Hey Javelin, did Blue Cross pay for the PSMA scan? I am getting one this week and also don’t yet have pre-authorization.

I called Blue Cross the following Monday and the approval was dated from the original request date,,which was a week prior to the scan. I talked to a rep a couple of weeks ago and she had me submit the receipt. I need to dig through my EOBs to see if it was paid. I haven’t seen a check, which is what I was expecting.

Yes, my understanding is that insurance companies follow medicare coverage after sons time. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer. I’ll have to see if they can be convinced to cover the scan I had today.
