My husband is in late stage castrate resistant Prostate Cancer. We live in NC. Can anyone recommend an oncologist who specializes in Prostate Cancer. He has a MO but I am afraid he does not have the time to investigate what else might be out there other than just SOC.
Thanks so much!!

Try to find PSMA-based scanning (some places in USA) and PSMA-based Treatment (which has been available in Germany for about 10 years) not yet approved by FDA! Finds and "disables" the cancer cells. Very effective for at least some people.
Hi,You may want to try a clinical trial. Ask your doctor about these. Someone in this thread mentioned PSMA based treatment.and I agree it is worth looking into. Or go to clinicaltrials.gov to see them all. God bless you and hubby!

RE:”” “investigate what else might be out there other than just SOC.” You might find your answer in academia and research at a major medical school. Research can grant greater latitudes in treatment. I did.
