Any recommendations for a good doctor at Moffitt?

I am interested in Moffit also. Might be transferring my care there after first of the year. Following

we live near clearwater - west of Tampa. we actually went to Dr Patel in Celebration, Fl (near Orlando)

- from what I had researched, I believe he is one of the TOP robotic surgeons

Dr. Patel is the best urologist in the southeast. I receive ongoing care at the Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute which has multiple locations in Florida. Dr. Mark Robbins is my medical oncologist. Superb. Dr. Randy Kahn is next door in Brandon and is my radiation oncologist. I interviewed the physicians at Moffitt and chose the largest private provider of cancer care in Florida. I am a G8, last PSA was 0.05, diagnosed in2012 in AZ. I live in Lithia, FL, southeast of Brandon.

My husband goes to Moffitt and sees Dr. Jad Chahoud. We both like him very much. He and his nurse are very responsive to any questions we have. If we ask a question through the patient portal we get an answer the same day.

I can recommend three, Dr. Julio Pow-Sang in the GUI onc clinic, Rad Oncologist Javier Torres-Roca, and the guy I consider the best Brachy Dr in the country, Daniel Fernandez. A top notch institution all around.

I use Moffitt. Satisfied so far. One stop shop with qualified team. Facility is very efficient.

Each of the MOs in the department have their own style. They share details and collaborate on each case periodically.

Pow-sang is the dept head. chahood is good. Chatwal is good.

Overall I think you would be satisfied with the level of care Moffitt can provide
