COVID-19 vaccine... PSA levels could be temporarily elevated?

Saw this on my news feed:

"Dr. Diego Rubinowicz, a urologist in Palm Beach County, says research is showing if you recently got your COVID-19 vaccine, PSA levels could be temporarily elevated."

I am assuming this applies to basically healthy men who still have their prostates, and it simply means to wait a few weeks after a vaccine to check PSA, but wondering if there is any relevance to those on ADT (with or without prostates) who might be concerned about a slight uptick in PSA. There was no reference in the news story to who was doing this research, or exactly what it showed.

If this topic has already been covered and discussed in a post, I apologize for the redundancy, but would be curious about details. A quick search didn't show anything here.

Anything that inflames, stresses or irritates prostate cells I would expect to temporarily increase PSA.

My anecdotal case:

Some anecdotal evidence: I got my vaccine and PSA was tested soon after. Still undetectable. Just one data point.

My PSA went down after the Pfzier vaccine but this could have been due to natural variation or other factors. It is possible that the vaccine enters normal as well as cancer cells and these cells would be destroyed by the immune system, but the local environment of prostate cancer metastases are immuno suppressive therefore unlikely. An inflammatory response is generated by the vaccine and this may cause the generation of more PSA. I could find no research on this issue. Cheers Phil
