If so do I have a choice? Or would it be random?
If I can choose should I get enhanced senses? Or since we've all cancer patience, maybe I can just some Wolverine super healing power?

Congratulations. I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this week. Can't wait to get the second dose. 2 weeks after that I'm heading to FL to see my grandchildren. And go see a movie in an actual theater.
I never really stopped going myself until they just played boring movies.
I never really stopped doing stuff unless people put a chain on the door and said, "Go away."
All jokes aside other than the combination of the Vaccines that came out so quickly and the virus running its course, I think the main thing that helped was just people respectfully keeping their distance and minding each other's business.
It was never my business with what a person was doing or not doing to be safe as long as they weren't being jerks about it. I never judged them one way or another. It's the Libertarian in me.
Glad you're coming down to Florida during a good time and a decent temperature. I had a few friends come in December. Both were from New England are, one was from New Hampshire and she was understandably pissed off that it was 30 degrees colder in Florida than back at her home.
I just laughed and said, "Welcome to Florida."
I'm thrilled you're getting your shot. Our lives are already getting screwed with when it comes to cancer. Who needs something else too right?

I lived in Florida for 12 years and then moved to Vermont. Couldn't take the summer heat and sprawl. Summers are much nicer here but there are winter days when I question my choices, especially now that I don't ski as much as used to. Still nice to come visit Florida.
Leaving ME tomorrow for FL---had second Moderna shot mid-February no problems. Now for some golf and warm weather. Third time I spent a winter in Maine and hope any and all others will be in Florida.

I got the Moderna yesterday at the Flagler County fairgrounds in my car (took about an hour of snaking around to the front) and so far, no problems. No superpowers either. I don't think they are having any complications to speak of, based on what they told me.
On the other hand, Marvelous Marvin Hagler didn't seem to do well on it, although there is some unknowns about what caused his death.

There are plenty of deaths from the vaccine but the % are not high enough to make the news, plus the news is on board with trying to get everyone to take the vaccine, even if they've already had the virus. Me and a couple other men on this site have had severe side effects from Levaquin and I belong to a facebook group of 14,000 people whose lives were turned upside down by floroquinolones (levaquin, cipro etc) but the medical community choses to ignore us and pretend the problems don't exist. It's called acceptable damages or ignorance. Whatever term is most befitting. I'm not an anti-vaccine guy but there are definitely people dying from the experimental mrna vaccines. The accounts are on the CDC website. You have to search though. They don't want it to be easy to find.
You know me George .I’m one of the others hurt by levaquin and other floroquinolones .. My friend Ron’s father here is 83 with Ms . Got the covid shot and has been in the hospital for a month . We don’t know if he’s going to make it or not ?Ron Sr. Is such a nice guy . But he was adamant about getting it and He forced his wife to get it with him . I pray that he doesn’t suffer unduly .. We met a lady in Tucson that had written a book about grieving . I Forgot the name? She forced her husband against his will to get a regular flu shot many years ago .. he died from the shot .. the basis of her book is that humans need to hold a celebration of life to move on after loss . It sounds like he was susceptible to the vaccine effects because he had MS. Frail and comorbities increase bad side effects just like with getting Covid. Is that your assessment? Celebrations of life are good but they sobering gloss over unnecessary harm and damage from medical damage. Medical errors of the number three leading cause of death in America they have been for many years

His daughter I am told is “ set for life “ financially from the settlement .. it doesn’t bring him back . I think the point of ceremonies is to resolve and forgive all in the past of the departed . About your friend's Ron's father - You might want to have him try what works great against the covid virus - Ivermectin and high dose methylprednisolone 250-500mg a day. The unknown here is whether his problems are due to the mrna synthetic components in the vaccine; or the immune system being overloaded trying to develop immunity to the vaccine; or if it is reacting like it would from covid (if it's from this then the ivermectin and methylprednisolone would work well). Some info to present to the family friends and their doctors.
I didn't feel a thing. I keep wondering if he actually gave me a shot. 2nd dose Tuesday. I had no issues at all. On the other hand, j-o-h-n is now a green squash, IH8NYC is purplish, Kaliber is orange.
I thought the same thing when I really didn't feel anything. I felt her touch my arm about the place a shot would be but no needle stick. I was sort of relieved when I had some pain at the site later in the day. That was the only side-effect I had.

Go moderna! My GP is pushing me to do the vaccine but insist that it’s OK d by my MO .
Had the 2nd Moderna shot last week and it put me down for 36 hours-- felt flu-ish with slight fever and achy feeling, and injection site in my arm was very sore for two days. If I could do it over, I think I would have gone for the one-and-done J&J for the convenience, and the fact it does well in preventing severe cases and was tested against some of the variants.
That sucks . My non professional opinion is that it is good you got the vaccine . Maybe you would have been hit hard by the virus itself if you felt bad after the shot?
I agree Lulu, it’s probably an indication my body wasn’t ready to fight Covid, and the vaccine helped prep my immune system. Much better than the alternative!
Fot those of us on Zytiga and prednisone- the prescription info sheet of prednisone warns " This medication may cause vaccines not to work as well. Do not have immunizations/vaccinations without the consent of your doctor. Avoid contact with people who have recently received live vaccines (such as flu vaccine inhaled through the nose". Don't know what is in the covid vaccine, don't want it put into my body until enough test subjects in the world have had their's.
Make sure they give you the shot in your butt....This way you'll always be pressing down on your tracking Chip....and the government will think they're tracking a bald headed man....
I won't go as far to say that the mRNA "vaccines" are bad. I just look at them just as I do any other drug or vaccine. It's crazy to me that I can get a "vaccine" that supposedly protects me from a virus that I have a 99.6% chance of surviving...but I can't get a dose of LU177 for a disease that I have a 99.6% chance of killing me.
Every time I take a dose of chemotherapy I feel like I have Covid 19. I think I'm going to stick to the old tried and true method of bourbon and honey...kills everything...except the PCa (I've tried already)...and Fauchi says I have to continue to wear a mask and socially distance if I get the vaccine anyway...so what's it good for?

Well, I got the shot and I didn't feel a THING! I was so BRAVE!
I was a little worried that what if I miss out on any new superpowers and they said it was going to be automatically updated in the Government chip I just got implanted with.
PHEW, that's a relief because they don't have the Wolverine super healing ability yet and I was worried I missed out.

Thanks brother .. he didn’t die in battle . He retired from the USPO at 62 and at 63 he was no more . Indeed , God rest his soul . My dear brother lived for sex drugs and booze . He started drinking at 10 years old and never quit . I was amazed that he lived to 63 with all of the crazy shit he did in life ? Can you imagine driving a gas tanker into a front line of war ? Wearing a rubber suit ? . He saw so many dead corpses .. It hurt him .. He got back and he and wife smoked crack for 8 years . She got fired smoking it while driving a perimeter truck at the state prison . She was a guard . Both destroyed by drugs and self abuse . I remember the good times growing up .
