What Is Going On...Looks Like an Epidemic

Ever since I got PCa I started reading the Obits...pages of people dying in their 70's and 80's and when the cause of death is listed the majority of times it is cancer. My wife runs a dog boarding and grooming business and most of the customers are 70+. It is scary how many either have cancer or someone in their family has cancer. As a kid I always watched horror movies and now am scared of dying and being underground in a coffin. I have stopped looking for ways to beat PCa and started researching ways to come back from the grave. I am open to anything ,even coming back as a vampire, and my first victim will be Nalakrats whose supplement protocol got me into this mess.

I have found myself thinking along similar lines! I find it hard to accept what is happening to my dad as so much has changed so quickly for him. I was out for a walk one day thinking through the latest test results and I found myself entering a mind labyrinth based on the premise of pets cemetery - of course they all came back so much scarier, and vampires get to fly so that sounds more cooler. Agree there seems to be much more cancer about these days, (and much more rare cancers diagnosed) but maybe it is just easier to diagnose now. I had quite a few friends whose mums died of breast cancer when I was younger but on the whole my grandparents generation seemed to be taken by old age.

Nice picture. I look like someone from the Day of the Dead without my partial in. Someone violated my 10pm curfew rule and I answered door saying "What the hell do you want." He was screaming "Oh my God" as he ran away. Haven't been bothered since.

Peter Magowan, 76, Giants owner/ex-Safeway CEO just died of prostate/liver cancer. Two others mentioned on the site today. It is those just in their forties or fifties that really bother me. Survivor guilt? I will probably make it to 69, may be a couple of more years. Who knows. With my life style probably go out with heart attack. Que sera, sera. Pardon my French.

Nal,

you may want to go deeper than just below the surface

I have already arranged to be cremated and scattered in an Oregon vineyard - where I can come back as an exceptionally fine vintage year. The vineyard owners were quite receptive and touched by my request. No funeral - a party; music, champagne, laughter.

Gus, if you want to be a vampire, your choice of profession is a phlebotomist. Every time I go for a blood draw, I swear they take a little extra for their lunch. I'm A+ which seems to be a popular type. Though I guess it depends on what's on the menu. I understand type O goes with everything.

Yes same here, cremated and my ashes thrown to the wind on some of my crop land. Have a keg of beer on ice and tell some stories of the "good days", if they can't remember any, make some thing up!

Which vineyard? Want to be sure to cross that one of my list when shopping for wine.

Willamette Valley Vineyards Tualatin vineyard. They do a single bottling of that vineyard. Bill fuller, who planted the vineyard, also plans to have his ashes scattered there, so you can get both of us.

I too get the impression that there is much more cancer than there used to be. However, I don't think that is actually the case. Especially where prostate cancer is concerned, I think it is more that much more early screening is done with PSA tests in particular and men who would previously never have been diagnosed and probably have died from old age having lived with cancer unknown to everyone can now be screened, examined, diagnosed and treated.

Nalakrats? Believe me - you don't want to be drinking his blood. -Patrick

With so many advances in treating heart disease, fewer people are dying from that and living long enough to develop a cancer. Some medics predict that cancer will soon overtake heart disease as the number one cause of death.

My son will have me creamated. Ashes will be bleached white and put into as many 3 minute timers as possible- Timers will be sold. No grave upkeep needed- low cost disposal. Funeral directors have put out a hit on me.

Isnt it one out of three , will get some cancer ..? . that’s what I’ve heard.. The big “C” is an epidemic... we’re not the only ones , just the ones to invite castration.

1 in 8 men will develop prostate cancer.

80% of all 80+ year old men have prostate cancer cells!

If we find the cure Social Security will die a very quick death and population will also explode with most needing long term care that our system is not prepared to handle. If breast and prostate cancer are cured look out below!!

Having said that "Gimme the Cure!"

Two thoughts. First one. When I hit room temperature, file my head to a point and drive me straight down into the ground.

-or-

Second one. Cremate me and from a plane spread my ashes all over New York City inasmuch as New York City has been making me dirty for years, then we'll be even.

Cancer seems like a plague nowadays because in the old days people died at a younger age before they developed cancer. My theory is, if you live long enough you'll die of cancer.

One more thing FUCK CANCER!

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Ok you ghouls, I am just hoping to out live the cancer and die of something else. I have been fighting for 26 years and my research doctor told my warranty is expiring. I told him I would like to buy an extended warranty with OTC supplements if necessary.
