What would be a good first 3 month psa after proton radiation with no hormone treatment. Started at 10.7 Gleason 7 4+3 and 3+4

Half would be good, but there are no rules. Down is better than up.

Is proton beam radiation covered by Medicare to the same extent it covers 'conventional' external beam radiation for prostate cancer?

Mine was but I’ve heard they were stopping paying more for proton.

Also been told it isn’t any better. I think it has a lot to do if you own a proton system you say it’s better. If you don’t own one it’s not better.

Loma Linda told patients 30-50% drop 4 months post proton treatment was what they'd hope to see.
