Two-Year Anniversary
Thats a great looking graph!! Keep it going. I'll have to post mine as soon as I can figure out how to do it. PS I saw your post from 11 months ago re part d coverage and waiting for prior Authorization B.S.. How did the insurance situation work out? I am going thru that right now denied and ..waiting...waiting..worried about the cost now.

Wings: I replied under that original post. Good luck working things out.
Thanks Gearhead, you really do a a good head on your shoulders, no evidence of brian fog yet!!! lol ..Looks like I may be paying up to $900+ for a couple months, then down to $50 a month after that, but still not set in stone yet, still waiting on the prior approval and actual cost. Hope they take payments!!!
Are you eligible for an ADT vacation or are you on ADT for life?
Those are good results.
Good question. I've not yet got a clear answer, partially due to pandemic, recent appointments being with PA not MD, etc. However, I'm 78, and I'll accept ADT as long as it works if that looks like the best strategy.
I love that curve!
That graph says it all. Looks great.
Great graph. Glad the Lupron/Zytiga($$) is working. And yes, beware of brian fog. If you combine it with j-o-h-n fog, you will be a prophet, wandering in the wilderness.
I am a caregiver. The same regimen helped keep cancer at bay for 2 1/2 years with the gentleman I care for. For those having trouble with the cost, I was always able to find help. He lives on Social Security and couldn’t afford it, either. I used various charities so look around, but also check the manufacturer. They also can help.
Good for you, keep fighting, lupron for almost 3 years started arbitrone with prednisone in December, last monthly check psa down to 2.2 from 12.6. I hope to have good luck and be on it for years if possible, if not move to the next one.
That's a great result Gearhead Love the graph the gradual drop then a straight line
Gonna keep that line going
Having my yearly MRI on the 16th PSA continued to drop 0.3 my oncologist is pleased
So I expect this MRI will confirm his enthusiasm
1 year 4 months on my journey and I have learnt so much about myself than I have in 50 plus years
I pray this year is kind to us all
Are you taking the full dose of four pills of Zytiga on an empty stomach or low dose of one pill after a meal?
Hang in there warrior, those are some great numbers. Fight that monster every day 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome Gearhead! My PSA started out at 308 in Jan 2020 and i have been at .008 since July 2020 and holding. Keep it going!
That’s the kind of “flatline” we want to see! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Such good news for you - congratulations. It looks like it took the Zytiga a few months to work. Is that true?
I have been on Zytiga for 3 months now. Psa went up from 4 to 12 in 45 days. Last 2 bi-weekly test stayed at 12. Check again next week with scans.
Obviously hoping for a drop. Appreciate your comments.
Tom
I wish you continued good progress! 🙏🙏🙏
What program/software to create the graph? Easier to read than my handwitten notes.
Great work Gearhead ! . Keep it on cruise control now for the long haul truckin . Keep rolling !
Great..... keep those gears moving............
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
