ANOTHER DEAR MEMBER HAS PASSED AWAY.

I came across a notice that one of our dear members passed away in October 2019. His UserID was ”DAVEHOPES” (David Gerner an attorney from Kentucky). I believe his wife Maureen also posted here, her UserID is “MOHOPES”. David was 59 years old and was in hospice when he passed away. He is survived by his beloved wife and three devoted children. May He Rest In Peace.

Thats two in one night from cancer for me. Just found out a friend from childhood passed a few minutes ago and then read this. I want to scream! Rest in peace David you were too young.

Thank you, j-o-h-n. I just received your post. It is lovely for you to remember David and our family. You were very kind in advising him before he became so ill that nothing more could really be done. The end of treatment options was very difficult for him to accept—David was never one to give up on anything! He was so grateful to all the members of this group who were and are so generous with their expertise and advice. At a dark and frightening time this group provided comfort, confidence and comraderie. No one should have to walk the journey of this horrendous disease alone. Blessings to all.
