Prostitis and prostate cancer. Is it posible to have both? I can't find any articles that talk about it, but I seem to have developed all the symptoms of it after 6 months on Xtandi.

Prostitis and PC. Can you have both.
Here are some articles about it:
mdpi.com/1422-0067/20/15/38...
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
However, the symptoms you are noticing may be because of progression of the cancer within the prostate. I suggest you have an imaging study.

Age 68. Reside in the Pacific northwest. Diagnosed Feb 2019. Gleason 5-4. PSA 48. Metastised to lymphs. Lupron started March 2019. Xtandi April 2020. Brought PSA to 0.2. Side effects were strong nerve pain down legs to feet, and some abdominal pain. Gradually reduced dose to one pill a day but ab pain got worse as to render me non functional. Quite xtandi 3 weeks ago and went on antibiotics for prostatitis. Seems to be working.
Thank you for your quick and detailed reply.
Did you check foot pain for neuropathy? I take 1 Neurontin/Gabapentin 600mg capsule twice a day (morning and evening).
For leg pain I take 1 Duloxetine (Cymbalta) Hcl Dr Caps 30mg capsule in the morning. Note: Duloxetine is used to treat depression and anxiety. In addition, duloxetine is used to help relieve nerve pain (peripheral neuropathy).
Keep posting here and asking questions (great source of Pca info).
