CoQ10 or no CoQ10. That is the question.

I read that CoQ10 should not be taken with Stage 4 metastatic PC. So I stopped. Recently I've developed neuropathy in my feet and some recent literature says CoQ10 is beneficial. What to do?

Are you taking a Statin drug?This class of drugs depletes the naturally occurring Co-q-10 in your body; therefore, you need to replace this Co-Q 10 through supplementation. I’m not sure why You would need to avoid it because of being a stage 4 prostate cancer patient??

Yes I take Crestor. That is why I originally started taking CoQ10. I had to stop during the recent 37 sessions of radiation. Then read some negative reports so I didn’t resume. Yesterday both my oncologist and cardiologist okayed resuming so that ends the controversy for me. Thanks.

I seem to recall either Snuffy Myers (when I was seeing him) or Dr. Sartor saying to avoid CoQ10.
