At my last RO meeting to discuss my latest PSA number, he mentioned that should it become necessary in the future, the cancer center where I am being monitored now has available a focal treatment which he described as “fluvocon”???? I am sure I spelled the term incorrectly. Can anyone enlighten me what this?

Fluciclovine (aka Axumin)? That's the PET indicator they use to detect metastases. It's not a treatment, just a kind of imaging.
The detection rate of the Axumins scan depends on the PSA. If the PSA is over 2 or higher the Axumin PET/CT has a detection rate of 93% which could be similar or close to the detection rate of the PSMA PET/CT scans.
Greetings sluh..... BTW your age? your location? your treatment center(s)? Doctor's name(s)? All info is voluntary but it helps us help you and helps us too. Thank you!!!
