I was given a 3mth injection of diphereline today and start 40 doses(if that is the right word)of radiation on 14th July.Originally I was told I would have pellets inserted into my prostate but radiologist says no radiation should do the trick hope he is right.

From your profile, it sounds like you do not have advanced prostate cancer (cancer that has metastasized)? What was your Gleason score? What country are you in?
Gleason is 4+3 sorry I am on wrong site.I live in Australia but I am worried I had bone scans and CT scan done in Dec 2019 and was told it was clear of metastizion but since the injection of diphereline I have debilitating back pain.I have been given another 3 mth shot of diphereline because radiologist says it works better with radiation.I was initially told that they would insert pellets into my prostate so I am a bit confused.

The type of prostate cancer you have is known as "unfavorable intermediate risk." The best treatment for it is a combination of brachytherapy plus external beam radiation plus 18 months of diphereline (or similar). I recommend you contact Jim Denham. If he's not close to where you live, he can probably recommend someone who is:
