There is hope and hopefully things are getting better
This post is just to let some of you know that there can be hope. I know I am not going to win the battle either, unless I win by having a good heart attack.
I am now 86 and was dxed with PC 30 years and 1 1/2 months ago, and come next friday the 26 will be my 30 year anniversary of the RP, which started my trip to win this battle. I know it is not winnable unless something else gets me first.
I am trying to beat is as long as i can as my wife of 64 years is hadicapped and needs my help as long as I can stick aroun.
I am now on Erleada, and lupron, and they are causing me many side effects
Prayers and best wishes to you all.

I was all good for 12 years, then psa started climbing, and in 2005 I had 42 radiation treatments, in the last few years I have been on lupron, and it had spre ad to my ribs and 10 more radiation treatments which burnt my back and my lungs some. I will not take more radiation,
I will probably stay on the lupron and the Erleada as long as I can stand it, but I am getting there I think.
Hello Jack, Where are you located? I want to drink the same water you're drinking. 64 years with the same woman? You both deserve medals. Give her my regards and tell she's married to a sweetheart of a guy.....God Bless and keep posting here.
I live in central Illinois, Morton to be exact, My wife has been slightly handicapped from polio at a early age, but healthy otherwise most of her life. She is having to use a walker now, bu t that's not bad. The good Lord has blessed in many ways.
