Has any one else developed Lichen sclerosus as a side effect of taking apalutamide
Your doctor should evaluate you and prescribe Enzalutamide is more tolerated, with fewer side effects
Thanks , I am using clobetesol for the next few months. It seems that females when they get this they show signs of androgen receptor blocking. That is what the apalutamide does in me. It seems that 12 years on ADT has caused me to cross the male female divide. The itch is very intense, but the steroid has toned that down. I think that this is one that I will have for life.
12 yrs , holey moley! I’m five years in myself with adt . Caught in the great divide brother . Hang in there . Hope you find relief .
Sorry. Crossing the male female divide and intense itching has to be uncomfortable. Hope your Rodger is ok Roger. I suppose the next side effect for us is algae sclerosus. It seems to never end. Try to enjoy.
It does keep my doctors on their toes. I am always bring them something that they have not seen before. It took a long time to get the proper guy to look at the problem. It was always chalked up to just more severe jock itch. But the bleeding just would not get better with lotrimin. Urologists are not the best sounding board for problems. My palliative care doctor referred my to a dermatologist who knew right away what was going on and what to do about it. this was after a year of talking to the urologist and getting nothing more than zinc oxide, which I would promptly bleed right through. I think that I am slightly biased against urologists. Stay strong
Yes. I have been seeing oncologist for so long and neglecting primary doctor. Seen him a while back after first meeting of three years ago. Got a shingles and pneumonia shot and declined flu shot. The male mentality. If it isn't broken don't fix it. If it's fractured whine. If it is broken, ER, right now, step on it, to hell with the stop lights.
I think that you have got that correct.
Not I.
