Some hospitals in Sweden and Finland and US are doing double-blind test for this “vaccine”, also interestingly the Finnish hospital told my father who likely have mets that he still might be a candidate?

Thank you so much! Such a compliment on a forum of such knowledge. The main target is people with aggressive PC and successful RP/radiaton to prevent any future mets.
My father though (G-9 recurrent, Possible bone mets) could according to this Finnish doctor still be a candidate for getting the vaccine since it could keep the disease in remission. I can keep you all posted if you would like?
Interesting! Since my father’s recurrence I’ve been of utmost annoyance to every doctor I’ve met (a million questions regarding everything I’ve read). I will definitely ask my fathers Finnish doctor about this, and a Swedish oncologist.
My personal view and that of many knowledgeable members of our knowledge forum is that there is no harm in taking cholera vaccine...it may do some good . Its one dose in 2 years.
Must if the studies are either happening now or going to happen soon (I think the one in the US is on paus, I know that the Research Hospital KS in Sweden is doing a trial starting August) and according to this study the trial in Germany is happening now di.se/bors/telegram/3105554...
If my father gets if (here’s to hoping!) I will tell you all about that too. So wonderful if it could work for mPC too, perhaps slow the progression of disease. Looking forward to asking questions to the Finnish doctor on Tuesday! He is involved in the Finnish trials.
I went to Niagara Falls and drove across the border to buy Ducoral over the counter at a Canadian drug store. it cost abour $100 U.S for the rcomended 2 doses. I declared it to the U.S. border agent and had no problem bringing it across the border.
Immunotherapies/vaccines that work well for other cancers usually fail to have any effect for prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is particularly "good" at dampening immune attacks. I'm hoping that BiTE or CAR-T may have more activity because they are specifically targeted to proteins uniquely expressed by prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer prevents most vaccines from working - Google Prostvax or Gvax for some particularly disappointing examples. This is not even targeted to prostate cancer - it's not something I would hang hopes on. There are many more promising therapies.
"RhoVac is collaborating with the University of Tübingen"
On a side note, I have noticed that you liked my post regarding the Philips-Electa MR guided RT linac. University of Tübingen and Heidelberg have two such machines, but only Tübingen is currently having an ongoing trial. I know first hand, because it will be my choice of preference if/when I will become recurrent. The point I would like to make here is that Tübingen is very active in novel PCa treatments.
Thanks very much for this. Interesting that it is also recruiting in UK so will check out. I had the Cholera vaccine in early Feb had to pretend I was travelling to India (still credible before Covid 19 really kicked off in Europe!) no side effects but not sure it has materially slowed down PSA progression but I will probably aim to visit India again in 2 years time because it is worth a go imo. Good to see that so much is happening in this area. In longer term I am optimistic about vaccines for PC having gone to a talk from Prof Helen McCarthy of Belfast University but we need something quickly.
Hello, hej! In Sweden you are able to walk into a vaccination reception and declare that you are going abroad in order to buy Ducoral. I think almost every city have them located "downtown". Good luck! Hälsningar
