I am well, DrPhil. I am in hospice, reasonably comfortable. Writing a website for my wife's book these days. i'm writing, but very little. I think the brain fog finally got to me. I can't write down my own ideas! Been talking to a nice chaplain, and we have come up with some tidy explanations for things. Wife taking excellent care of me. Even my son joins in.
Here's my final set of stories:

Love to everyone -- you know who you are!
Darn good work my friend. How’s your pain control going ? You have a lot of love over here.

Glad you are still hanging in. I think about you, strangely enough, and I will take great pleasure in reading your work. Our combined mental powers will keep you going. Enjoy your time with your loved ones. Peace....
Which one of us drags down the average? It's funny -- in my morphine induced stupidity I can't help thinking of my HU friends of all being in one place, like idaho, or the Mojave. When the truth is, we are just abut everywhere! In my dreams my home is about 12 locks from here. Nuts ... but I remember you.
Your poems are wonderful! Thank you for crossing paths with me on our life’s journeys.
Take care, dear friend.
I'm still feeling pretty OK. Blessed to have met so many good guys on my journey!
What a treasure those who drank with such satisfying joy of your simple elegant voice, the authenticity of feelings that give us an instant sense of knowing you. A recognition of our own humanity even in simple shared insights, the vulnerability to pain and frustration. Somehow through your words we feel less alone, unburdened and uplifted. Thank you Frank. You are like a found penny, “Ah! great good fortune”. A treasure we want to keep.
Well put friend.🕊
We had a rocky start but all is well now and I pray that you are without pain. Know that we all care. Love right back at you.
I don't remember all that ... onward and upward
Hello Mike Finley,
Nice to see you posting again.... I read your book and thought it was about me until it dawned on me that I was never at Hamline Avenue and St Clair Avenue in this life.... Thank your wife and your son for me...... Keep smiling.... and keep posting....

Thank you so much for sharing that article.
Hey, your welcome. I've been re-reading his posts, and a bit of research found his "last poems" at: mikefinleywriter.com/pdf/pd...
Thanks for the update, nice eulogy article. I have not been exposed to much poetry his was complex fun and sometimes dark. I worry we all will pass without much notice even though we have accomplished much as an individual. Fight on brothers!
