Remote participation in clinical trials sounds very surprising to me. In the trial I was in I went through multiple physical exams by various doctors before and after the actual treatment. They wanted to know everything they could learn about my prostate cancer and my reactions to treatment.

I was wondering the same. Perhaps they could do this via specific oncologists across the country who they know can and will follow all the strict guidelines?
I am currently in a trial at Hopkins that required me to travel there every month. Now, do to the virus, they send the trial meds to my home and I get labs at Quest sent there. MRI's are done locally as well.
