Hi everybody,

It's time to check my PSA , but going to hospitals and labs is risky in this CONVID time .my last PSA in January 8 was psa<0.003.I am still on ADT after Cyberknife on 2 Mets. How long can I postpone to see if the ADT is still working?undecided! Please advice.

Wish you the best.Be safe.

My oncology practice set up a drive thru phlebotomy area yesterday. I was and out in less than 10 minutes. No COVID symptom screening done. I used it to save time.

I don't think going to a hospital or clinic is any more dangerous than going to the grocery store. Many clinics screen everyone before they come thru the door. They don't do that at the grocery store (but they do wipe the cart handles and clean the checkout belt between customers).

May be your doctor has good facilities....not true everywhere. I don't understand what they screen ....not true everywhere as well.

Thanks anyway.

If this is the first time you're taking ADT, it will probably work for years.

Thanks TA,

I had intermittent ADT.all added is about 2 years on....usually with my radiation therapies(SRT,2 SBRT).I had my last SRS on September 2019 ....L3(cyberknife) and T5(Truebeam) and planned to add one year of ADT after the first SBRT without ADT was not successful for cure.

Last PSA<0.003 in January .

That’s a great number ...stay on the adt ...that’s coming from a smuck like me on adt five years now myself.. be happy and be well
