Just completed 6th treatment (6mnths) of Oxfigo 15 hits of radiation to for painful mets and on Xtandi Have lost 45 lbs and the smell and taste of food taste terrible and makes me sick. Is there any members that have dealt with this your suggestion will be appreciated.

If medical cannabis is available to you try it. It helped me. I’m in Illinois and my MO filled out the form. Approval was less than 24 hours.

Hey Racer! I remember a time I was on a drug hyaphen , I could even drink water without throwing up. Even My wife’s gourmet cooking revolted me . It also made me pee blue . Soon after I went into k failure and got dx APC . Thank God I came out of that never wanting to return . I think your cituation is the same. You’re dealing your pc poisons tight now .. great job losing that weights . That could save your life . I went from 233 down to 165 . Now I feel good at 195...I was passing out and spinning with nausea . These effects you’re feeling now won’t last . It’ll take time to recover. Make sure you don’t put all of the weight back on . Hard on the heart . I think you’ll feel better the further you get away from chemo. Let’s pray it kills the pc as advertised...... Hang in there my friend . You’re battling for survival . And you will survive. Let this hell pass brother . Feel better . 🙏

Hello Racer, my hubby has just had his third of six infusions of Xofigo and has lost just under one stone thus far. He was at first prescribed Gaviscon for the incessant nausea with reaching - it was useless. Then a Dr relative recommended Ondansetrin and this is proving helpful at the moment. On just a low dose yesterday, he ate a full roast dinner. Hopefully, now that you have completed the treatment you will soon start to feel better - lots of good luck wishes for good results.
