Guess who's the squirrel?

Although, after hanging around this forum, I'm guessing I'm just one of a huge scurry of squirrels!

I didn't even mention this to " my darling wife of 46 years"!

Best,

AJ

I Wonder if I can bury my acorns in the backyard and dig them up later when I need them😀? Although I think I read somewhere that squirrels lose about 75% of the acorns they bury! I’ll have to make sure I mark them well maybe with gps coordinates 😀. But seriously, are the SE’s lessened when you give up your acorns? It’s hard to imagine being on Lupron for the rest of my life.

in reply toDanielgreer

It’s so very tuff to say if the side effects are lessened ..I think 🤔 the side effects are from having no t. It makes sense that the SE’s are lessened on one form of adt instead of two . Or are the side effects lessened or do we just adjust and accept them better in time? A bit of both it seems. I was happy to ditch the shots . I was told that I’d be on adt for life ...now nobody knows what to do with me???

as far as i know, squirrels have never validated the 75% figure. The SPFNAS (Society for the Prevention of Fake News About Squirrels) insists that it's more like 74.8% -- ahhh, the fun never ends!

PCa feeds on a bunch of different substances, but supposedly selects Testosterone over everything else. LHRH agonists like lupron inhibit T production by the adrenals and the PCa itself, not just the main suppliers, your acorns. I'm trying to avoid that route, since making the PCa cells unable to use T makes more sense to me. Casodex (bicalutamide) has been used in Europe for decades and now has younger cousins: enzalutamide, apalutamide, darolutamide - not sure about the other -lutamides yet.

Good luck, amigo!

So many dammed cocktails going around. They are always going to come up with new drugs. Some dam day they just might find a cure. Let’s be here for that .

You write:

It is important to know that this is wrong. LHRH agonists ONLY inhibit T production in the testes. Zytiga, however, inhibits all T production.

thnx brother, my mistake. LHRH ANTagonists include inhibition of adrenal T production. I stand corrected.

Dan, all I can say is that I'm very lucky (so far). 18 months of Lupron (6 months of Casodex and 12 months of Zytiga and prednisone).

SE's, too few to mention.
