Hey brothers, fellow brother Mark aka Bussman aka Urang here on the group is in the V.A. In Missouri ....again..... receiving some much needed radiation to try to mediate a super bad met in his spine that has been causing him unbearable pain. Urang has been fighting the monster for well over 20 years and has endured old times painful treatments and many spinal surgeries .... and every single current treatment known.
He has soldiered thru it all like a champion but has been out of options for a while now and is basically in the palliative season of this illness. Urang loves to watch Svengoolie on Saturday evenings .... maybe we could all give Mark a wellness shout out and even catch a little Sven with him ?
Herze hoping that radiation hits the Mark ( pun intended ) buddy and you get out of that place and back home real soon.
Hang in there you got this, you got plenty more quality time coming brother 🌼🌸🦋 💪💪💪 ✌️✌️✌️

Wow, fight on fellow traveler Mark. I too like to find Svengoolie for a good laugh at how horror movies used to be made, without all the blood and gore and f-bombs and the like.
Mark aka bussman aka urang .. Let the svengoolie of radiation relieve your of . Peace and good luck brother.✌️
Dang ... about time you resurfaced . Someone said they saw a post a week or two ago. This place just isn’t the same without you buddy.
Svengoolie is a cult classic TV show that has Sven the ghoul that clowns around and plays old cult classic horror movies etc ... truly cornball to a degree that only decades of experience could bring. Been around since 1970.
I just heard from Mark earlier today .... the good side is his rounds of radiation have stopped his massive spinal pain , relieved a lot of serious suffering for him. the downside is that he is paralyzed from the waist down now. Still, stopping the pain is necessary up front ... being paralyzed from the waist down is bad but he now has the opportunity to get outfitted with a nifty power chair which will add considerably to his mobility ... and this event should probably be an incentive to get out to parks, zoos, restaurants, everywhere while he still can ... I know it makes me want to suddenly get out more and do more just thinking about it. In that respect, Mark becomes even more inspirational yayahahahaya. Lemons to lemonade
I was in the joint.... they got me for texting.... without a phone.....
Nice to see you as always... one of my favorites....
Poor guy.... paralyzed.... and had pain....and to top it off a Sven fan.... I had enough of horror shows when I was married to my first wife....The wicked witch of the west...
Hang in there and as usual l will follow your posts...It's hard for me to call anyone brother.... since I don't speak to mine....Take care...and watch out for that coronavirus...
Um ..... wait ..... what ? Yayahahahaya let your fingers do the walking I guess ( ewwwwwwwww ).
I called you brudder .... that’s like brother ... but different , makes it easier to write whatever you want into it yayahahahaya .... so that works out
Mark is a trooper ... has to be for fighting this PCa mess for well over two decades of horror show. Seems like everything bad that can happen to you with PCa ( except death ) has happened to him ..... twice or more. Seriously I don’t know how he does it ... wow. I think he said the PCa that ate into his spine caused the paralysis before the radiation pain killer treatment ... either way ...met or electron beam ... paralysis is paralysis. Still, considering all in all, he can still have a pretty good QOL considering the alternative as my wife likes to point out to me. I always try to keep the shinny side up ... keep on keeping on as long as possible. Picking daisies is far better than pushing them up ( all the dumb clichés I could think of quick )
Great to see you back ... I’ll keep an eye out for you too ... we’ll double team this sapsucker when the Debbie downer gets to be too much.
Last September (2018) the cancer in my spine shattered two of my vertebrae. I was having problems with pain in my left arm and neuropathy but a CT scan showed them that wasn’t the whole story. So, on the 27th of September, I had six vertebrae fused together, C5,6,7, & T1,2,3, and then a titanium rod screwed into the spine to help support it. Then came the beam radiation to help relieve some of the pain. All of this after I had moved back to Belle, MO. I have been fighting this prostate cancer for 20+ years and no cure. I have had every chemo that they have and now there is nothing left for me so it is just a matter of time… So, I wait….
Then came the PAIN! I started having extreme pain in my neck and started to complain to the doctor…. Then in July 2019 they took a few X-Rays and found I had a cupule of loose screws. (this has happened to me before when people said I had a few loose screws) So back to the operating room for a few repairs...
In September 2019 I was feeling sharp things trying to poke through the skin on my back… They operated for the third time, in October 2019, to grind down some bones that were trying to poke through the skin….
On January 23rd, 2020 a cancer tumor on my lower spine, T-6 T-7 T-8 and T-9, caused T-8 to implode smashing my spinal cord and instantly paralyzing me from the waist down… The pain was unreal so they set me up to get palliative beam radiation again to help relieve the pain. That took two weeks of radiation to solve the pain problem. It also shrunk the tumor enough to take some pressure off the spinal cord a little and I regained some movement in my legs but control and strength is just not there!
The cancer is everywhere in my body and is just a matter of time before it kills me by taking out something that I can’t recover from.
So, I wait and try to enjoy the time that Peggy (my wife) and I still have.

Hey Mark buddy ... about time you got in here and spread your experience and wisdom. I think you should make a new fresh “ post “ and reference back to this one if you want ... or not , whatever. This post is old and most people will miss seeing it.
Your input here is quite valuable and useful , rather important actually ....you have experience and expertise under your belt that all of us can dearly use. Just the experience knowledge base is WAY important.
Please do it for the benefit of all your brothers here buddy, they will seriously appreciate it.
