My friend who went to India brought me my 6 months supply of Organic Turmeric powder.

He goes to a place and handpicks the best dried turmeric roots and takes them to the grinding place and watches while they make powder and pack.

Yesterday, while cleaning living room floor ,I slipped and fell...got up went to hospital and got whole spine X rays, No fracture. Only pain due to muscle sprain.

My wife gave me a glass of warm ,fat free Milk with a teaspoonful of turmeric powder plus a pinch of black pepper powder ..at bedtime. By morning, my pain was 80% better. Turmeric is a great anti inflammatory root. I also grow some in my backyard.

Ok forgive if I get this wrong. I use to get the organic Turmeric powder from local store and fill my own capsules but since its the Curcumin we want, right? So I just started to buy the organic Curcumin and fill the capsules. Opinions?

Opinions may differ. I believe in natural, organic turmeric in good amount along with ample black pepper. It can provide enough curcumin..dont listen to supplement sellers who want to oversell you expensive, synthetic, modified products which can cause their own side effects,

Its like when you chew Coca leaves there are no problems for decades of use. But when you use concentrated, refined, synthetic form in the form of crack cocaine , you are in trouble very quickly.

Cocaine gives you a powerful instant high as it pulls out a whole bunch of dopamine from your brain cells .....but ending up in depletion of dopamine and resultant depression (crash) Stay with chewing coca leaves..much safer.
