LU 177 treatments

I’m curious. It seems I’ve seen many posts of guys traveling to Europe or Australia for LU177 treatment and it appears they go for one treatment and are done. Am I reading that right? I’m in the vision trial at OHSU in Portland OR and I have six treatments. If I am reading it right, why the difference in number of treatments. If I am reading it wrong (as they used to say on Saturday Night Live) Never Mind.

If you just have lymph node mets and are still hormone-sensitive you may just need one cycle if you are lucky. This is the case for tango and me. If you meet the criteria to be included in the vision trial you would need several cycles in Germany or Australia too.

Almost all Australian lutetium patients have multiple injections. Most have 4, with some having the maximum of 6.

It's becoming clear that Lu177 is just a 'holding' therapy. I think it will morph into a part of a dual or triple therapy down the track. Also much work going on to find better peptide than Merck's J617.
